Recruit Training Overview
All youth members must complete Recruit Training. Recruits learn teamwork, leadership, discipline, drill, military terms, rank structure, uniform care, physical fitness, customs, courtesies, and more.
Before Joining
Youth members must be at least 8 years old and have not completed high school.

At least one parent/legal guardian and all youths being registered must attend orientation/registration.
Documents Needed
Birth certificate and Social Security card for verification only, immunization record, recent physical exam or sports physical, and copy of medical insurance card, front and back.
Costs & Uniforms
$50 annual national registration fee. Basic uniform package is $150 for the Digital Camouflage Uniform and $150 for Physical Fitness Gear. Optional items may vary.
