We Build Young Leaders Through Action, Discipline, and Service

Why Parents Choose Guadalupe Valley Young Marines

Parents choose this program because they want their children to:

  • Build confidence through competence
  • Learn responsibility in a supportive environment
  • Develop discipline that carries into school and life
  • Be part of something meaningful, not just entertaining

This program exists to help young people grow up strong. Mentally, physically, and ethically.

The Guadalupe Valley Young Marines is a youth leadership development program designed to help young people grow into capable, confident, and responsible leaders.

We dont rely on lectures or slogans.

We build leadership through structure, physical challenge, teamwork, service, and reflection—the same way character is built in the real world.

Our Mission:

We develop young leaders through values, physical discipline, teamwork, and service—building honor, courage, and commitment through consistent, real-world experiences.

What Makes This Program Different

Many youth programs talk about values.

We make them visible, measurable, and coachable.

Every activity is designed to reinforce behaviors that matter—in school, at home, and later in life.

This is not a drop-off activity.

Its a development program with clear expectations and steady adult leadership.

A Simple, Consistent Program Structure

Each month follows the same proven framework so youth know whats expected and parents know whats being developed.

Every month includes:

 Physical Challenge

Age-appropriate fitness that builds resilience, confidence, and healthy habits.

 Drill & Precision Work

Structured activities that teach focus, self-control, teamwork, and attention to detail.

 Community Service

Hands-on service projects that build responsibility, empathy, and respect for others.

 Guided Reflection

Youth connect their experiences back to core values—what they learned, what they can improve, and how it applies to real life.

Consistency is intentional.

Its how discipline becomes habit.

Values Made Practical

We focus on three core values and define what they look like in action.

1. Honor

  • Shows up on time
  • Maintains standards
  • Owns mistakes

    2. Courage

  • Tries difficult things
  • Accepts correction
  • Stands up for peers

    3. Commitment

  • Follows through
  • Shows up consistently
  • Finishes what they start

Because these behaviors are observable, leaders can coach them and youth can grow.

    Leadership Is Earned

The program includes a clear leadership progression:

  • New Members learn discipline, teamwork, and responsibility
  • Intermediate Youth lead small tasks and support others
  • Senior Youth Leaders teach, mentor, and help plan activities

    Leadership is not given automatically.

Its earned through effort, consistency, and character.

    What Parents Can Expect

  • Clear structure and expectations
  • Consistent adult supervision
  • A focus on growth, not punishment
  • Accountability paired with encouragement
  • A program that challenges youth without tearing them down

Our goal is not perfection.

Its progress.
